Our Work
CAPI engages a wide range of stakeholders ranging from donors, nonprofit leaders, grassroots organisations, research centres, and policymakers to build knowledge and inform effective action.
As an organisation based in India, we document and amplify home-grown development models that are both locally grounded and globally relevant. Apart from our case studies and reports, CAPI has produced visual documentaries, toolkits, and practitioner resources that make knowledge accessible and actionable for the wider ecosystem.
Our Gigs for Good series spotlights social sector leaders across India, capturing their challenges, innovations, and lived experiences. By combining research with storytelling that centres practitioner voices, we aim to bridge grassroots realities, donor priorities, and sector-wide learning.
CAPI actively contributes to platforms that promote co-learning, cross-pollination, and strategic collaboration across borders. We work closely with civil society intermediaries such as GuideStar India and the Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy, and partner with the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS) to strengthen the vibrancy and resilience of the nonprofit sector.
